IT QUEST-2008 Inter School I.T. Quiz Competition
Dated: 23rd August 2008(Saturday) Organised by Computer Society of India, Lucknow Chapter In association with Seth M.R. Jaipuria School, Lucknow Computer Society of India, Lucknow Chapter has organised I.T. Quest 2008, an Inter School I.T. Quiz Contest for Class XI & XII Students. The event was the part of 'Techvista', an Inter School Techno Meet at the Seth M. R. Jaipuria School. In the event fifteen(15) schools participated in the quiz contest. A Preliminary written quiz test was conducted to select the best Six teams for the final quiz round.

Earlier the event was inaugurated by Mr. Rakesh Tuli, Director, NBRI Lucknow by lightning the lamp. At this occasion Mr. P. Arvindakshan, Principal Seth M. R. Jaipuria School and Mr. Ashesh K. Agarwal, Hon. Secretary, CSI were also present.
The final round has seven rounds related the theme History of Computers, Computer Terminology, Latest in I.T. Development & a Rapid fire round. The team from Seth A. R. Jaipuria School is judged as Ist, St. Francis College, Lucknow as IInd and Seth M.R. Jaipuria School, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow as IIIrd. In the end of quiz session a few questions were asked from the audience. Around 100 students witnessed the event. Mr. Manish Kalra & Mr. Romesh were the quiz master.
In the end Mr. Jayant Krishna, Chairman, CSI distributed the prizes and Memento for the event. During his address he thanked all the students for their active participation and encouraged them to participate in Nation Building through I.T. Development. Mr. M.A. Idrees, Mr. M. Waheed, Mr. Deepak Sharma and Mr. Rajesh Mehtani were also present in the closing ceremony.
